Ranexa

Ranexa is an anti-anginal (chest pain) drug. Angina is a pain that comes from the heart. It is usually due to narrowing of the arteries that supply blood to our heart. This narrowing reduces the blood supply to parts of your cardiac muscle. The blood and oxygen demanded by heart then it can get through the narrowed arteries (for eg; when you walk fast or climb stairs), you feel chest pain. It improves blood flow to the heart hence, the heart function more efficiently. It is a drug of choice to treat chronic chest pain (angina).
